Buckeye Local Results

    Buckeye finished 3rd as a team. They put 4 into the finals but had no champions.

    Willie Saxton lost in the 125 lb. final to 2X state placer Pizzuro of DeSales 5-4.

    Zach Schuller was winning 5-1 in the first period of the 140 lb. final and was Disqualified for an illegal slam.

     David Babel made it to the finals at 152 and lost 5-0 to Davis of DeSales.  Davis was 5th at state last year and at the halfway mark, he was only beating Babel 1-0.

    Brock Bowman lost 1-0 to a DeSales kid in the 160 lb. final in the. Babel and Bowman will be down at 145 & 152 this coming weekend.

    Other top 4 placers were: Cologie (3rd at 171), Harris (4th at 215), and Wagner (4th at 275). Cologie will be dropping to 160 now that Bowman and Babel are going down.

    It looks like Buckeye is on a roll with a strong showing at DeSales! They will soon be a the weight for the team to score maximum points.
