Indian Creek Places 10 at Milan Edison Invitational

    December 6, 2003 for a ten team invitational. The Redskins would finish in 3rd, just one point behind runner-up, Marion River Valley. Out of 11 wrestlers competing for the Redskins, 10 would place.

Two redskins claimed 1st, Kellen Hughs at 171 and Maurice Hines at 275. Kellen recorded three wins on the day, pinning Micheal Lund of Norwalk in 0:58, defeating J.T. Miller of Garfield Heights in overtime 7-5, and defeating Caleb Douce of River Valley 7-3 in the finals. and Maurice Hines garnered two stalling calls to defeat Matt Dotson of Margaretta's 3-2 in the finals.

Returning state qualifier Zac Pendleton started the day out with two falls over Margaretta's Rob Turner in 3:20 and Rossford's Jason Sutherland in 3:11. Zac settled for 2nd place as he was narrowly defeated in the finals by Garfield Heights' standout Domonic Cancilliere 7-5.

Adam Cowser and Brandon Bovina placed 3rd. Adam defeated Aaron Rospert of Norwalk St. Paul 18-7 while Brandon pinned Mike Holmes of Marion River Valley in only 0:58.

Three wrestlers claimed 4th place.

112 pounder Robbie Martin was pinned by Clayton Wetzel of Marion River Valley in 2:59.

119 pounder Matt Emery was defeated by Ray Arnold of Garfield Heights 12-3.

135 pounder Craig Johnston was pinned by Tony Knisely of Bloomdale Elmwood in 2:40.

Dylan Pendleton defeated Ryan McFann of Bloomdale Elmwood 10-0 to claim a fifth place 125 pound finish  130 pounder Clyde Jordan was defeated by Luke Gundrum of Margaretta 5-0 to settle for sixth place. Clyde had two falls on the day and lost three matches by five points or less.
