Wheeling Park

Wheeling Park had two placers in this very competitive early season Tournament.

125- Kyle Bauer went 4-1 and took 3rd. Kyle lost to Sean Bolyan of St. Mark's who's currently ranked #11 in AWN all class rankings. Kyle scored the first takedown but was unable to score again and lost 4-2. He came back and defeated Brandon Schultie of Sussex Central 5-3. Schultie was defending champion and 6th place finisher in Beast of East last year. Kyle then defeated another tough wrestler from Dematha Catholic 5-1 for 3rd and 4th.
152- Cody Amos went 2-3 and took 6th place. He had a bye the first round, defeated the #6 seed 9-5, and then defeated the #3 seed Tyler Rill of Mt. St Joes by fall. Rill is another highly ranked individual (22) in USA Wrestling's freshman/sophomore rankings. Cody then dropped three in a row to 6th place.

Park also took 5th place in the JV Tourney.
