Here is a piece that appeared on WTRF-7 last week during our camp on the Hilltop. Thanks to all who participated, and to all the camp staff to include clinicians Sanshiro Abe, 'Iron Lion' Branden Hinkle, Jeff LaMotte, and Mitch Smith, as well as coaches and counselors that assisted. In our third year we are up to 70 campers. Our goal when we began this camp three years ago was 100 in year five. It's looking as though we may reach our goal.

Big Red had five placers, including Charlie Keenan who was runner-up at 195. Steubenville sent 13 wrestlers to districts and finished No. 2 in the final JJHuddle D-II Wrestling Power Poll.

Sportatorium:

Sportatorium is having 6th grade and under sign ups for our team Smitty on Nov 14th & 21st at the sportatorium (438 market street Steubenville) 6PM-8PM!

First practice will be Nov. 28th. Practice will be Monday -Thursday 6-7:30 PM. Cost is $40 a month or $100 for the season. The staff this year will be Scott Heimstra, Mitch Knapp, Brandon Hinkle, Nic Spencer, Mike "Smitty" Smith, & Jeb Banovsky.
